On the West side there was a few surprises, as Felix "the Cat" Potvin was selected as the top goalie, and edged out Patrick Roy. While Arnott outshined Sakic, Gretzky and others. Tampa, Florida: With all the All-Star festivities this week, it was only fetting that the coaches for this years All-Star game were named also. For the Western Conference it will be Scotty Bowman, who has guided his Red Wings to a 27-14-4 record. While, on the Eastern Conference side Robbie Ftorek, who's Rangers team has the best record in the league (28-9-7) will coach the East. "Great honour" said Ftorek "Although, I'm not sure what use coaches are in the All-Star game. Maybe I'll make my boys play the trap."
