
East wins a laugher
over the West

Vancouver, B.C.:
The second annual GOHL All-Star game took place in
Vancouver B.C., Saturday afternoon as the GOHL showcased there best for the
fans.
The 1st period looked like an even contest as the teams
were nodded at 2, as Recchi, and Palffy scored for the East, while Amonte
scored both for the West.
In the 2nd period, the Eastern Conference started to
control they play and took a 6-4 lead into the 3rd period, and that's when the
East really took it to the West.
Not only did they score 3 goals, and hold the West to 0
goals, but they also out shot them 16-5, and 50-25 overall in the game.
The only bright spot on the West side was the fact that
how town Canuck player, Tony Amonte was named MVP of the game as he netted a
Hat-trick in the lost.

Young Guns Put on a show

GOHL REPORT: There was another new
feature added to the All-Star weekend, as there was a "Young Guns Game"
played, which showed the future superstars of the GOHL playing against each
other in a Western and Eastern Conference Format.
With some great young talent like Sergei Samsonov (BOS), Jas Hlavac (PHI),
Ryan Smyth (EDM) Brenden Morrow (DET), Joe Thornton (BOS), to name a few,
these young in the making stars should didn't disappoint.
